S.A.-Mann Brandwas one of the first Nazi propaganda films. Released on June 14, 1933 to “profound public indifference,” according to David Hull’s Film in the Third Reich,it helped to convince Goebbels that films with a heavy propagaganda content were not likely to be box office successes.
